I'm gonna try and go back to Friday fasting from social media.

Saying this out loud here so as to make myself do it.
Dear @cebm.bsky.social . The pageant was just beautiful. Telling this story, in this way, year after year, moves its truth into our souls and hearts. 🕯

Seriously, if you've ever walked by a church, or said any kind of prayer, you need to watch Wake Up Dead Man. 🕯

OMG!
Wake Up Dead Man was just so wonderful. How did they do it? 🕯

Precisely!
Meister Eckhart reflects on Matthew 5:3, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” talking about “internal” poverty, saying that a poor in spirit person is “someone who desires, knows, and possesses nothing.”

For Eckhart, this has to do with preparing for the Nativity.

Absolutely brilliant! Loved it. 😭
Forgive the baseball analogy, but the CofE hit it out of the park.

When our daughter was little she desperately wanted to wear a candle crown on St Lucy Day, so I made her one with construction paper candles.
No photo of that avaiable.
