MAGA: Sweden is in the midst of civil war, on the cusp of civilisational erasure

Swedes: on your paid holiday, please borrow some free skates so you can enjoy our public rink in the middle of the idyllic square in the heart of our walkable city.

I'm not in marketing but an angry guy shrieking "Guess what asshole...AI isn't going away so you might as well accept it!" doesn't strike me as the way you'd pitch an ostensibly useful product

I got a christmas card this year from a graphic designer I know who makes money, and it was the piss filter ghibli style AI. He told me it took him "about half a day".

Last year the card he made by hand took 2-3 hours. When I pointed this out he said "Huh" as if he hadn't thought of that fact.

Despite his best efforts Donald Trump will be known forever as one of history's most notorious pedophile rapists.

Even if he starts a war to try and hide it it'll still be "Notorious pedophile rapist mass murders Venezuelan children"

Affordable Talaris, a Share The Cities working group, has been demanding change at the Talaris parcel in Laurelhurst to build different & more affordable housing alongside trees, wetland, and a future daylit creek. We are heartened by the news that this parcel may have a different future!

Urbanist movie reviews: What the film lacks in plot and acting, it more than makes up for in strong point access blocks and a number of scenes in which the characters take long walks. The second half of the movie is dominated by characters struggling with the effects of automobile violence. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Car culture is the built environment and the built environment is car culture. Would help a everything from mass transit to urban density to sustainability if adults did not see themselves primarily as drivers first, pedestrians never, and bus riders only when punished by the state.
lots of people in this thread are saying "i don't want to send people to jail but i do want to take their licenses away" which i agree with, but i also think a lot of people would genuinely rather go to jail for a couple years than never be able to legally drive again

It's really not great that car dependency in most of this country is so bad that taking away someone's driver's license is almost equivalent to starving them to death

I quit reading Strong Towns and their stans when I noticed them routinely simping for late known-fascist Leon Krier, who spent his life claiming buildings could be "r*ped", and more easily than human bodies. For him, sexual assault apparently happens when you style yourself to look fresher than 1933
