You may not know who is pregnant at a holiday gathering. Many people do not disclose this information (I didn’t tell anyone other than family until I was almost 6 months pregnant with my daughter due to earlier losses, and I didn’t show early).

Please stay home if you are sick.

The current circulating strain(s) of influenza are causing severe morbidity & deaths in pregnant people and young children.

Vaccines are still available but it takes about 2 weeks for them to take effect. If you’re part of one of these populations, be cautious around holiday gatherings.

Yes, the Raptors are the Bobby Webster show now. Toronto’s general manager is admired in the league, and added backup centre Sandro Mamukelashvili on a contract that would have been a bargain even if people weren’t starting to mention him as sixth man of the year. Webster is the one who is now tasked with maintaining and expanding the franchise’s expectations; he will be the one who will have to figure out if an upgrade is worth it later this season, with an eye on a Finals run. And Webster learned under Ujiri, so Ujiri will be reflected in whatever comes next. He shouldn’t have been fired. But then, he left a franchise behind to make that point.

She said her governing body won't allow her to make clients mask but she will be reminding people to reschedule if they aren't feeling well or have symptoms. I wish we could get to a place of common courtesy where staying home when sick or wearing a mask if you can't stay home, becomes the norm.
