I love this idea.

Mark Jacob at his Substack: fact checking is not enough. "We need fact-crusading, not just fact-checking. Yes, fact-crusading. News media must hold the facts in such high regard that the enemies of truth become their adversaries."

Mark is a former editor at the Chicago Tribune.
Fact-checking isn’t enough. We need fact-crusading.
The enemies of truth should be called out and confronted, not just corrected.

Good morning fr #Pasadena.

Working on fence plans atm. Here’s a rough 2D sketch. Mimics our early 1900s garage doors style. Colors only to make pieces stand out in drawing. Ty, the guy in the drawing, is the the default #SketchUp dude, at least for the free version.

Happy Sunday!

Wow! Look at the size of this New York protest demanding a ceasefire! Well done! We must demand for the carnage to STOP!

A spotless garden isn’t a garden. Spotless means insects have no habitat, birds have no materials to build their nests, reptiles have no place to hide from people or the hot sun, no food. If leaves must be removed should at least be composted on-site. And if a blower is used it should be electric!
“operating a gas-powered leaf blower for an hour emits as much smog-forming pollution as driving a Toyota Camry from Los Angeles to Denver.” grist.org/solutions/le...
Hear that? It’s the sound of leaf blower bans.
As restrictions spread, neighborhoods are getting quieter — and cleaner.

Here he is hydrating in warm (30°c/86°F) water beforehand. #CaliforniaDesertTortoise

I just texted President asking him to end support to Israel with its current efforts to annihilate Gaza. What we’re seeing is not defense; it’s revenge and the world must demand a ceasefire. You too can text #PresidentBiden at 1-302-404-0880
Please repost if you agree.

My claim to fame, accident-wise was to pickup my heat gone by the nozzle because I wasn’t looking. Omg… what a horrible burn that was and in my right, dominant, hand!!
My brother ran completely through a plate-glass door. In my rush to get him a towel for the blood... I ran barefoot across all the fallen glass.
quote post this with a really foolish injury

one time, I broke my heel trying to do some kinda 3/4 assisted front-flip, barefoot, on a wooden floor, that I had seen Jackie Chan do in Rush Hour 2
