🧵 In a 3/31 court filing, the administration tried to argue that the DOGE embeds at federal agencies *aren't actually DOGE employees.* The judge rightly called BS and demanded they turn over the requested information about DOGE activities by 4/8.

It sure looks like they’re going all in on the “the executive branch can ignore court orders if it thinks the court lacks jurisdiction” thing

I've started to realize that Anne Frank and her family wouldn't have been safe around a lot of people I know and loved and once respected.

That's not something you get over.

Hey everyone, loosely based on postcardstovoters.com it’s my own thing. Use Google maps & find a fed office in a state. Mail them a postcard that says you support them & you’re thinking about them. I do this every night. Use #HoldTheLine for its defense, communication, & lifeline connotations

Want to know more about the federal workforce? Since DOGE doesn't give a shit about actual data (psst-they're just radical right wing ideologues, folks!) here is a helpful explainer from @theguardian.com with REAL data on federal workers!

Three things you can do right now to fight back.

1. Use @5calls.org or @resist.bot to blow up your reps phones all day everyday.

2. Use your voice to amplify what’s really going on out here and what the real, tangible impact is.

3. @runforsomething.net to make a difference in your district.

Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

It arrived. From OPM.

Demanding 5 bullets every Monday going forward.

This week a federal judge ruled “[OPM] does not have any authority whatsoever under any statute in the history of the universe to hire and fire employees at another agency.”

You do not report to OPM.

DOGE cuts four local U.S. Fish & Wildlife workers, three of them from the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, another from S. Jersey
All three sacked employees from the Heinz refuge were under the one-year mark in employment. One of them —a bio-technology worker —was just two weeks shy of a full year of service.
