He can’t. It requires the shameful complicity of hundreds of legislators who swore oaths on Bibles to country & Constitution & refuse to do their damn jobs

Folks look at you like you’re crazy when you say we’re in the worst Article I constitutional crisis in 🇺🇸 history & then it’s Saturday

US battleship classes are typically named after a state of the Union.

Montana, Hawaii and Alaska are still available.

No class has ever been named after an individual.

Task for today:

Would you be willing to share something good that happens today? It could be seeing lots of green (support public health), postcards received/sent, a conservation win at work/home, an example of civil servants excelling

I will share at the end of the day some of the great examples!

This is important. Networks should give this a lot of air. Only Palestinians have real power to end this war. When they rise up, take control and end Hamas there is nothing left to fight. They need leaders unlike Arafat, Abbas or Hamas who desire conflict to enrich themselves at expense of public.

It’s very discouraging to watch our country slowly re-learn the lessons that led to the end of segregation, among them that people who think they’re racially superior are nearly universally incompetent fools unable to face up to their own deficiencies and putting them in charge is suicide

Once again, I don’t know what anyone has seen in the last two months to suggest that the 2026/28 elections are going to be free, fair, & competitive by any normal standard of 🇺🇸 politics. This is obviously unconstitutional & a massive Article I crisis & yet who will stop it?

Trump just signed an exec order purporting to require a passport (or a few other docs) to register to vote. The president doesn't have the power to override a law passed by Congress. This is the SAVE Act but much worse. It is an illegal power grab that would block tens of millions from voting.

Turkey protests, Istanbul, Day 7.

They’ve faced pepper spray, water cannons, rubber bullets & vicious beatings by police.

But tonight, tens of thousands are standing strong, fighting for their democracy.

Over 1400 arrested. Journalists are now being snatched in dawn raids. 🇹🇷

Thanks to Donald Trump, the lab will close on April 15.

Sabotage. Feature, not bug.

They were already defying courts. Now they’re constructively impounding grandma’s rent and food money.

Anyone who decides to do this either misjudges the extent of the blowback they’ll receive or plans to use force on our own citizens to silence it. This is a coup.
Everyone really needs to read this and share it.

DOGE has shot SSA in the knees. Next, they'll say the only answer is to kill it rather than take it to a doctor. That's the plan.

And, this is why Biden's preemptive pardons of non-crimes shouldn't have happened. It sets it up for the current jackalope to pardon all of his criminal entourage.
I hope Democrats learn from Merrick Garland’s mistakes and the failure of Obama’s “move on” strategy vis-a-vis Bush era war crimes, and understand that all these people ultimately need to go to prison.
