Trump is sending natl guard in cities, arm forces are killing people in the carrabean w/ questionable legal authority yet almost every Sen Dem leader incl. Schumer, Durbin, Murray, Klobuchar voted to advance a defense spending bill yesterday.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It wouldn’t be hard to protect Medicaid and funding to rural hospitals and still reduce our nation’s ballooning debt and deficit. The Rs would just have to make the wealthy and corporations pay slightly more in taxes. (PS Rs are never serious about the debt and deficit when they are in power).
