Happy New Year! Here are a few of my (non-book) favorites of 2025.
Limited Series: THE BEAST IN ME - I loved everything about this Netflix suspense series. The plot was wild & messy w/o being too outlandish, and the acting was superb.

I've been thinking about the best movies of 2025 and I haven't seen any! I cancelled my movie channels in favor of Netflix and I'm not a fan. I didn't like Frankenstein or A House of Dynamite. I tried watching Train Dreams and Nouvelle Vague and gave up.

On my quest to catch up my reviews of everything I read this year, I've got one more Christmas book. This medical romance was a sweet story, and I enjoyed it. Also, if you like older leads, this one has main characters in their 40s/50s. #romancelandia

I feel like I didn't accomplish much writing-wise in 2025. I finished my Texas series in 2023. I did a lot of rewriting and querying in 2024. Then I gave up and started working on a historical romance. In 2025 I did...editing. Editing is writing, yes. But it's not fresh & new.

Both of my kids have birthdays during the holiday season so it's extra stressful. I feel obligated to plan outings and make special memories etc. I just want to hermit! And save money! I'm like a troll under the bridge with a pile of coins.
