Tirzepatide accidentally saved my life when no one was taking my long covid seriously or even understood how badly it was messing me up. I truly hope they find some solid evidence it can help others, too.
We've just launched the first large, site-less (home, direct to participant) randomized trial for treatment of #LongCovid, testing tirzepatide (a GLP-1 drug) vs placebo. Please help spread the word

Garlic! It is the basis of nearly all my seasoning. Bread…eh I can live without it.
Thinking of you and your family. May you have all the support and the best of care.

An update about me and my publishing plans for 2025-2026:

In early September (specifically, they day before our first overseas vacation in seven years), I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Apparently she hadn’t been feeling good in the heat. They had her start back down on her own and she fell off a cliff!!
Wow use pick up all the time and never had that happened. Seems like that store has an issue!
And now reading through blurbs I discover one of the previous series features the detective in the other timeline !! God I love authors with backlists to explore!!
I just borrowed book 1 to check if I had read it would have been better prepared for the ending and having skipped to the end…I sure would have! I think I’ll jump back and read book 1 after all!
82. The Mysterious Case of the Missing Crime Writer A Mystery by Ragnar Jónasson (cozyish mystery)

Bk 2 but I jumped in with this one & enjoyed it all the way to the last chapter where I was not prepared for the cliffhanger ending of one of the storylines!

Cw: abuse, stalking, murder, lies.

It is really bittersweet. She would have loved the discussions.
Oooh. Those sounds great.
Yes! It makes such a difference in the tone of the books and my ability to enjoy them that we aren’t reading straight copaganda.

There is enough there that I will definitely read the next book. The audio narration was very good and enjoy the MCs.
That made me give it a little more space and the book itself definitely calls out queerphobia and the MC practices magic in ways outside her own slot in the magical world (witch who also does sorcerer magic) so I’m hopeful that KA is going to complicate the magical world more, break up the certainty
So although I really liked the voice I almost quit it because the magical worldbuilding has little room for trans people, very gender segregated. (Witches only have daughters, werewolves are only male). Then I was told that it’s the same system as Kelly Armstrong’s Bitten series (KA is KA)
81. Witch of the Wolves by Kaylee Archer (Historical PNR, WW/WM)

Kidnapped by her werewolf father Cordelia must untangle the lies and figure out who to trust and who to fear. Great inner voice & big conflicts.

CWs: sexism, threats of SA, violence, murder, queer phobia.
