No surprise! Putin’s foreign policy aide Ushakov, following Witkoff/Kushner visit, says sides are no closer to resolving the crisis in Ukraine.

The Dim-Witt “Peace” plan is a train wreck.

Rubio was too crafty to go to the Kremlin and have this silly meeting.

For a long time, I thought a Reform-Tory pact couldn’t happen, because it would require the Conservatives to accept they were the junior partner. But Badenoch is so crap that I now think…maybe it could?

If these people are shocked its because they have not been paying attention, MAGA-world antipathy to Europe has been blindingly obvious. Its just that doing something about it it is hard and costly.
Trumpworld’s loathing of Europe has become a charge that centrist leaders are “betraying Western civilisation” and don’t deserve to be defended by US. Shocked European officials fear a schism in the West, with Putin a likely winner. My column, The Telegram

I wish there was a precedent for what happens when a demagogue picks out a vulnerable minority group and labels them as subhuman. I wonder what the next step is and whether any innocent people get hurt. And I wonder whether the demagogue's followers go on trial when the whole thing is over.
here's Trump's full racist rant about MN's Somali community: "Somalians ripped off that state for billions. And they contribute nothing... Ilhan Omar is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends are garbage. These aren't people that work... They come from hell & do nothing but bitch. We don't want them"

It's not totally clear that re-indicting Comey will give the government a clean slate. It'll still have to litigate the time bar, which might turn on the validity of the first indictment.

Plus, if DOJ doesn't (successfully) appeal, it's stuck with the ruling that Halligan isn't the U.S. attorney.
Breaking on MS NOW: The Trump Justice Department is considering seeking another indictment of James Comey this week in the Eastern District of Virginia. It might be going before a grand jury today.

This would be in lieu of appealing the ruling from last week dismissing the case against Comey.

Zelenskyy is only being positive to the "peace" plan because he knows the Russians will say no, and he needs Trump's good will to get intel and guns. Russians like the peace process because they use it to stall western support for Ukraine so that Ukraine will be easier to destroy later.

Remember in May when Trump gave asylum to 17 family members of the Sinaloa cartel after making a deal with El Chapo’s son? And did you know in 2013, El Chapo bribed Juan Hernandez- who trump just pardoned - in exchange for protection in Honduras? I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence.
