I don’t see “give women all the power” as much as I did in younger days. We’ve had enough examples of inhumane female leaders that only very naive people still imagine women bring some essentialist virtue to powerful positions.

And this all starts right out of the academies or ROTC, are the top of the class going into arty or armor or logistics, no they’re all going to the 173rd airborne or ranger school, so you can see how the army has become so light infantry/SOF centric

I deeply resent the current regime has me writing protest songs. It’s pretty good though, imo. You should watch the video and do the YouTube interactions (like/comment etc.). First song I’ve written on the baritone ukulele rather than the piano.

I wonder if it’s less weird for a British audience to see a cast full of British actors pretending to be French people. And I wonder if it would have been less weird back before we could get tv shows from pretty much anywhere in the world any time we want.

Thoughts on the premiere of Maigret:
It is weird seeing entire soundstages full of Brits pretending to be French.
Maigret is correct but a bit full of himself.
No way these two cases are related. None!
We love a cop who isn’t sad! And making his wife a busy professional herself is inspired.
