Reform UK are raising Council Tax across the country. They claim they didn’t formally pledge to reduce it.

Maybe I'm being pedantic, but there's a Spitfire outside At Paul's cathedral for the VE Day stuff today, it has D-Day (June 1944) wing stripes, which wouldn't have been present in May 1944 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invasio...

This article can be summed up with 2 words: "OK millennial"... www.theguardian.com/society/2025...
Cringe! How millennials became uncool
They are mocked by gen Z for everything from their trainer socks to their mom jeans and selfie technique. A maligned millennial asks: how did we get here?

There’s nothing stopping the Home Office from changing a) how the migration figures are recorded (who counts as a migrant worker vs a foreign student on temporary visa) so they’re more credible and reliable, and b) how migration is actually managed. And yet, instead, we get this kind of nonsense.

Having the unfortunate experience of watching The Apprentice (UK). Hard pushed sales of sub-standard produce, is this the peak of capitalism or just aiming for the UK's halcyon days of British Leyland and the Allegro?

Tariffs on agriculture from Mexico and Canada raise the price of food for 340 million Americans in order to (maybe) increase earnings for roughly 2 million full time farmers - earnings which will very likely be erased by a combination of retaliation, inflation and aggresive ICE enforcement.
