I'm willing to offer that we no longer have a functioning Congress. Their complicity in Trump's authoritarian rise has essentially erased Congress as a co-equal branch of government. And we all know the Supreme Court has played a role in his authoritarian rise. This is all by design.

Every month when I go to the pharmacy, I think back on the last several decades of right wing propaganda that tells everyone union dues are theft and I just shake my head. Then I smile.

It probably goes deeper than that, she looked too hard for a gun that went missing in the police station, then talked to investigators and she got whacked for crossing the “blue line”. It’s likely he didn’t act alone.
