Absolutely THIS!!!!!!!!! 👇

My only worry is that ARE there any decent MPs left in #Labour?? The handful that I thought that were seem to be happy & content with the #Starmer shitshow.
Only Keir Starmer's Labour could arrest the world's most famous climate activist for holding a placard

All I want for Christmas is a vote of no confidence in Keir Starmer for trashing the UK's humanitarian reputation

Come on decent Labour MPs, where are you?

The remarkably well-preserved York Helmet, dated AD 770-775, is one of only six surviving helmets from Anglo-Saxon Britain. A Latin inscription bears the name ‘Oshere’. Discovered by a digger operator in York in 1982. Iron and copper-alloy.

✨From the archives: St Mary’s, Breamore in Hampshire, is one of the most complete late Anglo-Saxon churches we have — a building that’s held its ground for over a millennium. Here I photographed it with the Elizabethan Breamore House behind it, two eras folded into one view.

A genetic therapy has reversed aggressive & incurable blood cancers in ~64% of patients in a trial.

The treatment involves editing the DNA in white blood cells to transform them into a cancer-fighting "living drug".

This is shocking, but it's not JUST Cornwall, it appears to be happening everywhere. In the 6th richest country in the world!

Things have got worse in my area too, & neither the #Tories nor #Labour have done anything about it.

Yet, the rich are getting richer. #Starmer turns a blind eye to it all.

The memory, or forgetting, of the Achaemenids in Sasanian late antiquity and the medieval period is a robust debate. I wrote a rather longish blog about it here:

You may have seen some headlines about welfare spending going up to £406.2bn by 2030/31.
That is correct, it is the OBR figure.

Here is what you may not have seen.
Of the £406.2bn
A) £195.4bn goes to pensioners
B) £13.9bn goes on child benefit.

Facts matter.

The casual way this techbro talks about the "error-prone" products they are throwing out into the world, the necessity for the consumer to accept, train for, and correct for these, and the impending economic chaos wrought by the frenzy they are creating as though it's normal and natural: holy hell.

Something unexpected happened at the @meidascanada.ca town hall in Victoria.
A group of young Afghan girls who escaped the Taliban showed up and asked to speak. They told their story of the fight for education and the need for Canada to help.
We will be sharing their story.
