I watched more movies than usual in Nov. so am posting #LastFourWatched sooner than usual for #LetterboxdFriday. Actually watched the intense "Jackie" on Nov. 22nd. Man on Fire was powerful & one of the best this year. The others were both pleasant, with sweetness & humor. #FilmSky #movies

I keep wanting to return to the Holiday Hadrosaur theme, perhaps with a different hadrosaur each time, but I'm worn down just thinking of the time and work required, because that's where I am these days. 🥲

Violets are great for shading & adds a richness to the work.
It was salvaged by my learning not to be shy about the darkest areas and really layering that velvety black; not with black paint but with caput mortuum violet, Winsor violet, and of course a little ultramarine on top of the pyrrol red.

I lost my way with this one. The extent of the rust spots were paving my way to overworking even without my own blundering, and I of course walked merrily -- and then tearfully -- right into it.

Spending 6 hours at a hospital having a nuclear stress test is an experience, especially when the machine breaks down partway through the day. I think it ought to be renamed "stressful test". But there was the bonus of the visiting therapy dog in the waiting room. #dogs #stress

What a splendid poem!
I like this & it creates all sorts of stories in my head. Everyone is beautifully done, of course, especially the dino. It has a wonderful storybook vibe, which is very appealing.

It is well worth all the time it takes to produce such luminous results.
Glazing in watercolour is time-consuming. Though that's perhaps a redundant explanation, given that everything is time-consuming when I attempt it. 😮💨🙁😑
