The Dem Party’s response to the billionaire takeover of America is:

- Launching a billionaire-funded deregulatory agenda called “abundance”

- Launching a billionaire-funded Substack to create “arguments”

- Launching a billionaire-funded think tank shitting on grassroots groups

I was at the cottage last month and my own copy of Radical Mindfulness was defiled by racoons, after also destroying (and eating!) a box of chocolates. You can't really see in this image, but there are tiny claw marks on the cover and chocolately paw marks on the pages.

Right-wing authoritarians are gaining ground across the world, and one body of research has an unusual explanation for why that's the case: our collective death anxiety. Green burials, however, might be able to help solve the problem.

Our collective fear of death pushes us towards authoritarianism
Green burials are less polluting. Can they also help us alleviate our death anxiety and keep authoritarianism at bay?
