"Blanca" has been picking blackberries for 25 yrs on CAs Central Coast. "I'm currently thinning the rows so the plant produces more berries. We pick 6 hrs/day and then do this thinning 2-3hrs/day. It will make it easier to harvest the fruit the next day. #WeFeedYou

Sweet potato workers are in the Madera area transplanting this year's crop. Jorge uses a tool to dig the roots deep into the ground. The work only gets harder the hotter it gets. There's very little shade so they start earlier to avoid being in the heat for too long. #WeFeedYou
