Snake oil salesman never set out to intentionally harm their customers, they just didn’t know anything, at all, about medicine. I guess AI has allowed malicious to be added to the greedy & stupid of the snake oil salesman of yore.
It is simultaneously true that ML tools are incredibly useful and that many of their most intense adherents are selling snake oil

Although many people are saying it, I do not believe our current president sucked off former president Bill Clinton on camera. I have not seen sufficient evidence that our current president gave the former president a blowie in a way that was memorialized in a photo. That's not something I believe.

I want to like VS Code, but it's things like adding a in-line preview of the a color just because it "saw" something that looked like a rgb code is NOT helpful (especially when I didn't explicitly configure it to do this).
