This was rescheduled. I'm sure #SCOTUS will be included among the rogues' gallery.

Republicans want to constantly be partisan-ing.

Mid-decade redistricting.

Continual budget shenanigans instead of simply having a budget each year. Every few months, is something new.

See also the whole debt ceiling drama.

Executive firing of protected officials.

And more.

Kagan: The District Court conducted a nine-day hearing, involving the testimony of nearly two dozen witnesses and the introduction of thousands of exhibits.

The court issued a 160-page opinion recounting in detail its factual findings. #SCOTUS

People can think up lots of nice sounding reforms, but ultimately, this #SCOTUS will keep this up with this personnel.

Reading a book about a person raising a trans child in Alabama. Ouch.

People have prejudices about trans people. It's a sign of why people get so emotionally invested in something that should not throw them so much.

Even if trans people seem "icky" to you (not good), why care so much? That's why.

One sort of comment online that annoys me is people who blather on and on about something, sometimes sounding like they want to cosplay being a graduate student writing a thesis about something, and if you plow through it all, tbh, they are just full of it. And, a lot of the blather is just that.

Congressman Henry Cuellar was indicted for money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy, allegedly taking about $600,000, mostly from Azerbaijan, to influence U.S. policy.

President Donald Trump pardoned Cuellar, because Trump supports money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy.
Trump announces a pardon of Henry Cuellar: "I am hereby announcing my full and unconditional PARDON of beloved Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar, and Imelda. Henry, I don’t know you, but you can sleep well tonight — Your nightmare is finally over!"

Nothing excites some people more than finding a reason to say Dems or Democratic leadership sucks.

Sometimes, the leadership does do something suck-y, including not endorsing (or waiting to the last minute) the party's choice (and a damn good politician) for mayor of NYC.

Still gets old fast.

Skimmed a collection of letters. I was looking at the photos, and a passing reference flags the Civil War vet didn't survive. He wasn't injured during the war. He died of dysentery serving in Texas in the fall of 1865. Sheesh.

Lots died of sickness but to die THEN.

I'm all for positivity, but sorry, people wanted the Dem to win in TN. They were "disappointed" even if the small margin of victory was nice and a promising overall sign.

People don't think Trump will last until Jan 2029.

Kamala Harris was the Vice President last time. It's why I was fine if Biden stayed in.

Now it is James David Vance.
