The police issued a fixed penalty notice on this man, which he paid.

Unless he gets he decides to attempt to overturn that decision, his comments must be treated with contempt.

No disrespect to Zalenskyy, but he’s getting nowhere with this US President, and never will.
He should either resign, or make Vitali Klitschko Foreign Minister and head of negotiations.
Klitschko should be the man to meet Trump in the White House.

He’d scare the bejesus out of him.

Mill workers were hugely important in the push to get women the vote. Although wages were low they, wielded economic power and were well organised.

They often, unfairly, get overlooked in the popular narrative where the quest for the vote gets cast as a purely middle or upper class movement.

I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

What the Labour Party used to understand was that it wasn’t that immigration was tearing the country apart, but that immigration was what was holding the country together. Immigration kept our NHS going, our transport system going, our education and much more.

It’s still true. They must know it.

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me
