Hopefully not his last trophy of the week, but this is a big deal. Fernando is only the seventh Hoosier to win this award, which began in 1924 when Red Grange won it. Only IU winners since the 1930s are Antwaan Randle El in 2001, Anthony Thompson in 1988 and 1989, and Tim Clifford in 1979.

Dick Cheney had I think the arc of a lot of republican politicians of his age, in that they assumed the foundations of liberal democracy were so rock solid they could be freely fucked with to no great cost.
