This article explains how Musk’s ridiculous pay is tied to achieving various benchmarks for Tesla.

So even more so than before, Musk’s money is tied to Tesla.

If Tesla does badly, Musk is hurt.

You know what to do, world.

The shareholders brought this on themselves. #TeslaTakedown
Tesla says shareholders approve Musk's $1 trillion pay plan with over 75% voting in favor
Tesla shareholders approved CEO Elon Musk's historic pay package at the company's annual shareholders meeting in Austin, Texas.

Trump want to make a one time payment of 400 bucks, then cancel your insurance. You can use that money to make a downpayment on your coffin.
Trump: "I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE."

Tesla’s profit fell 37% in the third quarter. It's been in the process of laying off 14,000 workers. It had more cars impacted by recalls than any other brand in 2024.

Yet Elon Musk just got a pay package worth $1 trillion.

American capitalism is off the rails.

Simply put, none of this is true. In tomorrow's column I note the average price of gas is more than $3/gallon, not close to $2, but whatever. And the Walmart Thanksgiving thing has already been repeatedly debunked. This is a rambling loon living in a made-up world where others tell him fake things.
Trump: "I don't want to hear about the affordability, because right now we're much less. If you look at energy, we're getting close to $2 a gallon gasoline."

There should be a law that during a shutdown that those government officials don’t get paid and their lost wages are automatically donated.

I don't understand how electricity costs increase due to AI data centers. Why wouldn't those entities that use more electricity pay more vs. us?

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

This is good, but when people talk about this I want to emphasize: we have not run out of money for SNAP. The money is there, it has been allotted and saved specifically for this instance. Trump refuses to release the billions of dollars that Americans have already allotted to continue food stamps!
In the 60-year history of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, it’s never run out of money. Here are the states suing the federal government over it.

1. Reagan’s speech is real

2. It’s public domain

3. Americans pay the cost of the added 10% tariffs, not Canadians

4. Trump keeps lying because he thinks you’re all too stupid to fact check

5. The average family will pay an extra $4900 this year because his tariffs

The 3 districts facing the highest premium hikes if ACA tax credits expire are all Republican-led districts:

WY: +693%
WV-01: +654%
WV-02: +599%

Republicans would rather abandon their constituents than work with us to reopen the government and protect their health care.

This is due to a law signed by Ronald Reagan and has nothing to do with this shutdown fight.

But consider this...

Emergency Medicaid spending in 2023 cost $3.8 billion — just 0.4% of total Medicaid spending.

Now what about the $20 billion taxpayers are giving to Argentina?
Leavitt: "When an illegal alien goes to the emergency room, who's paying for it? The American taxpayer."

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.
