This is absolutely true. If you want this vibe of movie but can’t stand “A Christmas Story” try watching “8 Bit Christmas.” There are some actual jokes and the protagonist is less of a dick.
My Christmas movie hot take is that "A Christmas Story" is maybe my least favorite movie of all time. Absolutely awful, unwatchable senile-ass good-old-days-ass boomer trash.
