Just a headless chicken asking why.
If Amber and Lewis both get 40, everyone vote Balvinder! If they're both are at the bottom of the vote we could get an all-ringer double 40 dance off! #Strictly

This running order really is highlighting the difference between the three learning to dance and the two mega ringahs who are going to steal their final places. #Strictly

Easily the best dance of the night so far, should get all 9s, at least. #Strictly

A Karen vs ringer dance off would be very funny. #Strictly

Fittingly, I've found myself watching Helen George dances. One of the many faves I've lost to Musicals Week. #Strictly

Point of No Return definitely works better for an AT than Phantom of the Opera at least. #Strictly

Every single time I make cookies with a gluten free flour containing rice flour, my stomach hates me. So good thing I just made some more...

Every single awful thing that happens in the world ends up on my timeline, but not a single person could tell me that Allie X released an album last month?

Had to go on Spotify because that's where the Christmas playlist I like is, so I caved and looked at my wrapped. Basically just "you really like Isak Danielson, huh?" on every slide.

this feels like another iteration of the "what if I give a homeless man money and he buys booze" thing. So then he bought booze, so what, you are not his personal life coach. You did your bit now go live your life.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

Can't remember the last time I opened Spotify. I've just been a lazy fuck and playing one song on youtube and letting it autoplay until I get bored.

You want there to be a legal challenge to this? Support the one that's already in progress that, if successful, will remove the risk of legal action against Guides and WI, or other organisations, for being trans inclusive goodlawproject.org/crowdfunder/...

SHAME on everyone who has pushed and paid for this. You are not feminists. You are not allies. You KNOWINGLY work with ultra-conservative and far right organisations. SHAME on you.

Also, your daughters think you’re shitheads.
The Women's Institute has been forced into excluding trans women too
"Not doing so would leave us at risk of costly legal challenge and potential regulatory action from the Charity Commission. We have a public duty to ensure our charity is not in breach of the law."

Gender criticals: "Listen to women! Unless you're Girlguides or the Women's Institute or you disagree with the male judge who wrote this decision or if you don't 'look like a woman' or if you're a trans man because then you're definitely a man."

Everyone will suffer from this madness. Everyone.

Just so sad and angry about what's happening in the UK thanks to a small group of hateful transphobes and a much larger group of people who should do better but let the bigots walk all over them.

The article explicitly notes WI had had a trans-inclusive policy *since the 1970s*!

I was expecting some BBC schedule fuckery when I noticed the screenings for Black Ops and the new Dawn French comedy were early December.

Didn't see Traitors moving to 8pm permanently and Uncloaked to BBC One coming though.

I really hope we get Julian back next year. Him being the only pro to give clear instructions in the instant dance should have secured his place, but you never know with these producers. #Strictly

Why do my faves always get cursed with Phantom of the fucking Opera??? (Forever pissed off over Davood.) #strictly

Guess we're saving the Lewis dance off until the semis then. I don't him there in the QFs as it risks him getting a bump. Better to leave the ringer-off to the semis. #Strictly

Easily one of the best pro dances this year (thanks Oti!), and also proof that same-sex pro pairings should just be a casual part of every pro dance. #Strictly

The fascinating thing about the George hate is how often people twist moments where he's clearly in on the joke, or silly/stupid bit, and use them against him. #Strictly

I should watch Parade’s End again. The thing that made me a lifelong fan of Rebecca Hall, even though I've barely watched her in anything since. (Sheridan Smith stole her BAFTA!!)
