The only problem I've encountered thus far is that the needle slowly gets gunked up and a bit tacky from the adhesive. Nothing an intermittent wipe down doesn't cure.

The brand is called Sulky Stick N Stitch. It's a bit like textured double-sided tape; you print or hand-draw your design on the textured side, then peel off the smooth backing to adhere it to the fabric. Sew your embroidery, then immerse in cold water to dissolve the transfer. Easy ❤️

Much respect to you as a musician, but this makes about as much sense as reclaiming the swastika or the confederate flag. By virtue of English history, the English flag is one of supremacy and trying to water that down only sews confusion over what is otherwise a clear sign of present danger

The library needed volunteers all summer, did you go there?
The local football clubs need coaches and lines-folk and referees,
The allotments need looked after, the local parks need planted,
And if you don't want to help with anything above,
Just admit you do not give a sh*t, and shut the f*ck up.

Tl; dr: Core's executives didn't care about the story enough. They could have let Murti write the bridge/AOD's novelisation, but chose not to.

I'm just glad that nowadays Murti is "just" a fan and so can write freely just like the rest of us.

Great review 👏 Agreed that the lack of care in the research and Americanisms really spoiled the experience.

I've despised that flag (and the Union Jack) ever since seeing it associated with the football hooliganism in the 90's. The entire concept of taking pride in a nation state, or the random chance of being born in one and not another, completely baffles me 🤷‍♀️

I've been making my own #embroidery patches for a while now, but only just got hold of some stick n' stitch paper that works on my home printer. Suffice to say, fiddly geometric designs have been an absolute pain... up till now.

My last train journey was in 2019. Hundreds of pounds to get from Nottingham to London on crowded, uncomfortable carriages. Then for the same trip in 2018 I had awful delays and cancellations both ways, with almost no help to reroute. Absolute nightmare.

Hard pass.
