This is a horrible disease for a child to suffer and 💯 preventable
Subtext: This entire family *is* vaccinated, and the mom got a booster while pregnant. Their child was just 2 weeks old when she contracted whooping cough -- too young to be vaccinated.

But experts say if vax rates drop, this kind of infection becomes more common -- bc the disease is just around.
Vaccination rates are plummeting across the country, as part of a larger, troubling trend of growing vaccine hesitancy that is fueling a resurgence of preventable diseases, an NBC News and Stanford University investigation found.

When they destroyed our Mary figure in our anti-ICE #nativity, I bet they didn’t think that we would make it MORE powerful! Honestly, if you tear something down that you don’t like, you’re pretty much never the good guy. That goes for nativities and the entire county, btw. #DHS, take note.

It’s not all that we could do, but it’s all that we will do. once we decided that we could live with a Sandy Hook, the mirage that we care about this dissipated.
Trump: "I've been fully briefed on the Brown University situation. What a terrible thing it is. All we can do right now is pray for the victims." (Trump falsely posted that the shooter is in custody.)

I’ve seen this happen to my elderly neighbors. I’m glad about this ruling, but the County should now go after the predatory purchasers to compensate the homeowners.
A federal judge ruled in a class action lawsuit that the way Cook County handles unpaid property taxes violates the U.S. Constitution, a win for homeowners who lost their properties.
