It's fundamentally a backlash against Black Lives Matter, Me Too, the LGBTQ movement, and Obama, so yes, this is true. That's all it's ever been.
I really need for people to see & acknowledge that the open racism & sexism in US public life today are directly downstream of the decade-long effort to destroy "woke," ie, anti-racism & anti-sexism. This was always the point.
