For about 5 minutes at a time. Why can’t we have great optical coatings keep them clean by themselves?
jschmeling.bsky.social
Because they are heavier or because they are lighter? I will say my low profile run flat tires are a disaster from a replacement standpoint due to damage by not wear and tear. Don’t know anything about tire sizing on EVs generally.

Because it feels relevant as we continue to evaluate the media and our representatives’ statements, my favorite way to identify the active vs. passive voice.
A post by Rebecca Johnson:
“I finally learned how to teach my guys to ID the passive voice. If you can insert "by zombies" after the verb, you have passive voice.”

A tumblr respond from mightymur:
“The final, brilliant word on passive voice.
"She was killed [by zombies.]"<--passive
"Zombies killed [by zombies] her." <-- active”

Isn't it always this way?

The four horsemen of the apocalypse in the movie are not what I was expecting from reading the book first.

Alternatively method: microwave until one spot is hotter than the sun and will burn your tongue and the roof of your mouth and the rest is still frozen.

Portland is so peaceful Republicans had to go all the way to South America to find photos from years ago for their bad memes.

The Oregon Republican Party tried to help Donald Trump make the case for military intervention in Portland with an image of a fiery protest — but since Portland is calm, they had to fabricate one by merging old photos of police in Ecuador and protesters in Brazil www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

This was probably the only thing I remember absolutely being opposed to in Spanish food. I wasn’t a fan of blood sausage, but I drew the line at crayfish heads. Nope. But I do appreciate how so many people love them. Just not me.

And by real I mean that there are effects not that it’s an actual dissertation. I doubt it is. But it could be!

Another interesting area of innovation - could be useful, too, in tracking ships thought to be launching drones over, for instance, Western NATO countries. Might also be useful in places like the South China Sea and any narrow sea lanes.

I used to enjoy video gaming. The last time I opened one I used to play regularly was 2008. I bought Starfield with the intent of trying to game again, played about 2.5 hours, and that was 2 years ago now. I tried Civilization V a few years ago for about 4 hours. Did I change?

I understand the sentiment, but I also think throwing out useful experience and expertise is a problem. The right guardrails need to be there (and there is evidence we don't get them right), but if we are going to get "all of nation" to address our threats, we need to include those who can help. 2¢
