It's an open secret in the anime and manga industry that My Hero Academia is the best-selling cape comic in a generation. A lot of us found it wild in 2021, when NYCC did the surprised Pikachu face after a panel with Horikoshi-sensei hit capacity in two minutes, with hundreds still waiting outside.

dvds used to come with multiple discs and include cool ass menus and hours of special features 20 years ago. now it's a miracle to get over 15 minutes worth of bonus content and a menu that isn't boring as shit on a blu-ray
