People will forgive stupid lyrics if the song sounds good, but if the singer sounds like a donkey, the musicians are clumsy, or the melody is one long fart, the wittiest lyrics in the world won't save it.
This is why you can't simply have a wonderful Christmas time even if you didn't start the fire.

I think this answer is a good guess. An amendment, if adopted, could say anything. It could say "The rest of the Constitution is invalid. The Prez is now King." Anyway, Gödel was right. The Constitution was never perfect and by itself couldn't prevent a dictatorship.
