Heartbreaking news.
The essay she recently wrote brought me to tears.
Tatiana Schlossberg has passed away at 35. Please read this beautiful essay she published last month. It's one of the best things I've read in a long time.

When I was diagnosed with leukemia, my first thought was that this couldn’t be happening to me, to my family.

Useful idiot Donald Trump has swallowed the "He attacked Putin's house" bullshit, hook, line and sinker

Expect Putin to ratchet up the lies, knowing Trump will be fooled every single time

Putin controls him, like a puppet master

Trying to embrace the Grey, but knowing that Grey hair indicates a cellular protective shutdown helps a little.
A new study suggests that pigment loss results from damaged stem cells entering a protective shutdown, highlighting a trade-off between hair color and cancer defense, and offering new insights into the biology of aging and tissue maintenance.
Hair Graying Suggests Cellular Mechanisms Against Cancer - Profolus
Hair graying could reflect a cellular defense mechanism against cancer.

Thinking of you Sheri-Lynn. Please come home safe 🙏
I’m Sheri’s brother. I want to emphasize she was last seen Wednesday morning and is driving (truck description in story). RCMP have a general search area based on her last known location, but device pings are limited and the device in question isn’t her usual phone. She could be a long way … 1/2

Welcome to the WDNC Club, Mr. Minister!

Maybe he's peri/post menopausal or just plain tired of the BS of Vance and Trump these past few days.

I've not been following the news lately and I seriously thought the "quiet piggy" comment directed at a female reporter had to have been a fabrication. Apparently he also called Khashoggi a "not well liked person" and said of his murder + dismemberment "things happen"
Turning on some music now 🎧
This has got a good beat to it.

Congratulations to the Nisga'a Lisims First Nation government and the City of Prince Rupert. Exciting opportunities for the Northwest. Rupert sure needs the industry and investment. Sad to see the deterioration of this beautiful city over the years without the fisheries and mills

I'm amazed at the amount of organic compost I create every week. The garbage cart is practically empty on garbage day now.
Curbside organics collection in Kamloops reduces greenhouse gases equivalent to removing 2,000 cars from local roads each year.

👉 When food scraps and yard waste end up in the landfill, they create methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. Composting, by comparison, produces far less harmful emissions.

I'm kinda in the side of keeping DST permanent. I'm retired, love to sleep "late" and not a fan of darkness at 5 pm
DST is why most Americans wake by alarm in darkness. Permanent Standard Time would let us sleep longer and awaken naturally to sunlight, for health!
