I'm sympathetic to people who "Don't want to hear about politics all the time" but unfortunately "politics" for the average person will probably get much less abstract in the near term. It's going to get harder to get through a day without going "Wait it's legal for them to do that?"

I think in these incredibly stressful times we should all take some time to remember that it's okay to step back for a day. Protect your mental health; you can't do anything for the cause if you're not rested. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

I agree, I'm going to miss the community there. They're the reason I even know I have autism at all, and I'm so grateful to have been able to learn so much about myself.
I learned so much about my autism on tiktok and it became a place where people were openly and vibrantly autistic, unmasking, showing their supports and their successes. It was incredibly cool to be in a space that was just a bunch of people loving their autistic lives and sharing them.
