Am I the only one seeing a pattern here? #potus creates a mess in the markets then backtracks his big talk and the markets rebound. Someone needs to check to see which members of Congress bought yesterday. #alwaysagrift

I want PBS, Social Security, and The Smithsonian.

Prediction:
The MAGA folks who "F*cked Around" and voted based on their belief that the US is a totally out of control hellhole will soon get hit square in the face with a big dose of "Find Out" reality. Unfortunately , the rest of us are going to take the hit as well.

A good time to mention that American state media required VP Kamala Harris sound like an astrophysicist when she to spoke them and wanted her to be fully prepared with presentations/data detailing her every plan whilst excepting any unhinged rant from a felon. Racism/sexism.

Missouri is 50th in starting teacher pay and 49th in classroom funding. For over a decade, Republicans said they couldn’t budget for public schools but now they found millions for charters ? Weird. missouriindependent.com/2024/12/31/m...

America's richest 10% now hold 60% of the nation's wealth.

The bottom half of America? It holds just 6%.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.

America has 815 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.7 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $3.7 trillion in wealth.

When 815 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Bingo! 👇
Republicans are great as an opposition party, because they have a talent for grievance and tearing things down.

But they cannot govern to save their own political lives.

And so begins again the lesson of why the GOP should not be in power.

One of the problems is that the leading MAGA voices like Trump, Elon, Vivek, etc are just fundamentally dishonest and they inflame their followers with lies & disinformation.

The other problem is that so many elected MAGA voices get off on chaos. They just want chaos to reign.

Let’s be clear about something.

The Trump cult are MISINFORMATION voters.

The people who decided the election ultimately are LOW INFORMATION voters.

They are not the same.

The second group is going to be shocked at what happens to it.

Republicans gerrymandered 3 times as many congressional districts as Democrats did.

Senate Republicans blocked bills to end gerrymandering that House Dems had passed in 2019 & 2021.

And Republican-appointed Supreme Court justices in 2019 barred federal courts from overturning partisan gerrymanders
