Splitting and hauling wood; the reward is a lovely fire in the relatively warm, minus 10 C weather. I love winter. Maybe not the freezing rain (at minus 15? What the heck) but the snow yes.

This is BIG learning for hubby and I. So many plans for the hide once it is smoked and softened. We had to put this away as rawhide when winter hit and will finish in spring. If the winter wait hurts the final stages, we will use the rawhide for snowshoes and drums.

I’m unsure why a few atheists find the need to mock those who aren’t, but I dislike that as much as I dislike preaching from any religious person. There are similarities. It’s tedious how so many feel the need to “prove” their superiority to others for endless reasons. It’s tied to all the isms.
