WOW. So this is obviously a huge violation of this man's rights, and it illustrates a few things we're seeing broadly:
- DHS officers are ignoring peoples' IDs and instead requiring screening through their own systems

As we have said before - there is really no such thing as a "prison phone vendor".
These are surveillance companies marketing services to prisons. Their own sales materials say as much. Phones are just a tool and part of the package.

Where I work, people prefer less. From one person who'd been friendly, I now hear "I don't talk about personal stuff at work." I'm like, "The customary response is to just say 'fine, and you?'" So now I just say that person's name and might nod. Some may note my (masked) smiles in my eye crinkles.

Trump claims “any document” signed by Joe Biden is “hereby terminated.”
He calls out executive orders later but obviously “any document” would be much broader and include legislation.
(He can’t legally do that but, as always, we get to watch how far he can push this without repercussions)
