The whole “Mary Sue” mess is why I didn’t even bother making an OC until I was 36 freaking years old. I saw how welcoming FFXIV is with OCs after I wanted to ship Lume with Aymeric. I was afraid of making her to my liking, but then said f it, I do what I want & no one can stop me :V

I dropped the $2000 number on my parents repeatedly when I was trying to apply for SSI and they didn't believe it could possibly be so low. They neglected to tell me about some stocks they'd gotten in my name that pushed me just over the limit. Application gone.
I don't think enough people realize that for many folks on disability they cannot risk having over a VERY low cap of money/property or they will lose their benefits nearly immediately

Not super woke, but I wholly believe that there should be no billionaires. No one should be allowed to amass such a grotesque amount of money that they will never have any use for. At that point I feel like you should be taxed up the wazoo to bring that money back to the community.
