Hiked 15 km of the West Highland Way today, Drymen to Millarochy Bay.
Hard climb up Conic Hill for me after 7.5 rather easy and flat kilometers.
But I never went up from that side, so couldn't miss out...

We know that adding car lanes to roads just attracts more cars. We should now try the opposite: take away car lanes, widen pavements, add segregated cycle lanes. We'll find that bigger cars become less attractive and more people walk and cycle. Win for everyone.

I took the car yesterday. After work it took 15 minutes for the windscreen to be clear. That's the time it takes me to cycle back home. 😂🤷🏼♀️

I recently came from X, too. I'm not really a poster, I rather read and occasionally comment.
I hope one day cycling will be as normal in the UK as it is in Germany, so every non-driver from 8-80 can get around safely on a bike when walking is taking too long and busses are not available.
