Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

I think all of the following things:

1) that some degree of violent conflict is inevitable because thousands of ICE combatants will not peacefully submit to judgment for their crimes;

2) that we should try to minimize violence as much as possible, because it will be horrible; and
that's cool, man, but have you tried the taste of a refreshing matcha latte

I honestly don’t know what’s more concerning. That the president of the United States keeps falling asleep in public or that everyone around him is too scared to wake him up.

Lost the battle, but this is a very good sign that we can, and will, win the war.
I think this is very important. I hope Democrats are listening.

That is not, in fact, the oath they took.
BLITZER: I want to be precise. Should members of the US military obey clearly illegal orders?

McCLAIN: You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took

(Not a no!)

This is swatting but even more dangerous for the victims. ICE is just armed, rabid raccoons in a trench coat without even lipservice to accountability.
Missouri AG Catherine Hanaway escalated GOP efforts to block a referendum by referring grassroots signature collectors to ICE—without evidence. It’s a dangerous attempt to intimidate voters and sabotage direct democracy. Missourians won’t back down. #PeopleNotPoliticians

If he knows RFJ Jr. is using his position to spread misinformation, what is he going to do about it?
Telling the folks who watch Jake Tapper does approximately fuckall to fix the harm he has caused by elevating RFK to this position. Anything less than ousting him is useless.
TAPPER: You were the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to ascend to the role of Health Secretary. Did you give him too much credit?

CASSIDY: The fact is the scientific community agrees that vaccines are safe. That's all I can say.

Russia drafted a 28 point surrender plan, handed it to the Trump team, and the regime delivered it to Kyiv unedited, demanding Zelensky sign it by Thanksgiving or lose all US support. Trump and Vance then promoted the plan exactly as Russia wrote it, verbatim, on TV, online, and in person.

This admin. has been infiltrated by so many competing interests. It must be hard for the Russian assets to stay on the same page with the Israeli assets when they have to coordinate with the folks who just want to cover up Epstein and/or get rich with crypto.

An important part of the job for any WH Press Secretary is to clean up remarks made by the president or offer explanation/context or apology when warranted. But Leavitt never does that. She always crafts a response that makes it even worse by adding her own toxic twist.

New from 404 Media: a contractor is paying random people $300 to physically track immigrants for ICE. Spoke to people briefed on plans. This isn't licensed PIs/bounty hunters. These are just former police/military; members of public

Considering what ICE/BP does in front of witnesses with cameras, I think there will be many, many more horrific stories about what they are doing behind closed doors.
Why else would they refuse to allow completely legal oversight visits? Good people doing good things do not staff detention centers.
this story was reported on as a suicide three months ago.

the family has now obtained evidence that Chaofeng Ge's hands and legs were tied behind his back at the time of his hanging.

As the Trump administration searches for more space to detain immigrants, it is approaching Washington tribes to see if they will participate.
