It's infuriating how 99% of the coverage of this new war doesn't bother to mention that it is happening because we had an agreement to limit and monitor Iran's nuclear program, which even Trump's own aides said was working, and he blew it up because it was negotiated under Obama.

The Supreme Court's decision to uphold a Tennessee ban on gender affirming care for minors is a major loss for the transgender community at an extremely vulnerable moment.

“Materially and emotionally, for transgender young people and their families, the worst case scenario has already happened.”
Supreme Court upholds Tennessee ban on gender affirming care for minors
"[The Court] authorizes, without second thought, untold harm to transgender children," Justice Sotomayor wrote in a dissent.

I got a lot of death threats after I confronted Nancy Mace at a tech conference in DC and I guess it's nice to know that most of them were probably just from her and her bot army? www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

It was obvious at the time but worth being explicit: the focus on “illegal” immigrants was always insincere - as we can see from disappearing lawful residents to concentration camps and revoking student visas of PhD students without any criminal history.

It was always about removing non-Europeans.

If your day has been hard, if you’re feeling anxious or angry or lost, allow yourself to pause for a moment and come back to your breathing. The present moment is all we truly have. When we become so tied up in our thoughts, we miss our appointment with life. Rest well, my friends. 😊

Not hugely helpful reporting from the Liverpool Echo today. “As easy to access as crisps” apparently.

How voters have changed their minds since July.

Headline story is obviously the fact one third of 2024 Labour voters currently say they wouldn't vote Labour, but also notable just 13% of Labour 'defectors' are switching to the Conservatives.

I never realized the Qatari Al-Thani family were the largest shareholders in the very dodgy Deutsche bank.
And guess who they lend to?
It takes just minutes to read, but I promise it will blow your mind.

The Trump-Qatar Scandal is about so much more than a damn plane—and Trump knows it. Even many in major media know it.

I cannot explain to you, as a bestselling Trump biographer, why so many in D.C. are hiding what all of us know.
