My top Super Bowl memory is when Musk tweeted “Go Eagles” in 2023 from the game and then deleted it after a similar tweet from Biden got more engagement. Then he flew to Twitter HQ and demanded his workers find out why his posts were doing poorly, starting a multi-day fact finding mission.

Trump’s tariffs are driving up prices for us, while driving down demand for U.S. exports in Canada and Mexico.

This why you don’t trust your country’s economic policies to someone who bankrupted 5 casinos.

Incredibly moving Justin Trudeau remarks:

"We have fought and died alongside you....During your darkest hours...we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people....Canadians are a little perplexed as to why our closest friends and neighbors are choosing to target us."

If you are looking for the guardrails on MAGA extremism, it does not reside in government institutions or norms. Nor will you find any courage in the boardrooms of large corporations as they bow and scrape before Trump.

That leaves only the courts.

Just a heads up for peeps, if you bought a Neil Gaiman audiobook from Audible, they are allowing refunds for them with no questions asked and no matter how long ago you bought them. I don’t even have an active subscription and they gave me credits back for two titles purchased in 2020.

The Book Swap was a warm hug of a novel that I gobbled up.
This Must Be the Place was sprawling and layered, about a complicated family.
Baggage was dishy and introspective at the same time; perfectly narrated on audio by Cumming himself.
