there's probably an essay to be written about how bizarre it is that the union leader who wrote a book about the role of educators in fighting fascism can't seem to grasp that many AI/tech CEOs are themselves deeply invested in promoting fascism.

ICE finds it easier to arrest people who aren't hiding from them, so that's what they do.
I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.
