Four Democratic members of the SJC - Blumenthal, Hirono, Padilla, and Booker - didn't even bother to show up. Booker! Trump is shoving Emil Bove down Booker's throat, and he can't show up? Is he too busy hawking his new book? What a complete failure to meet the moment.
I'm only half-watching this Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, but it is hard to overstate how unprepared the committee's Democrats are to fight these nominees. A bunch of elderly statesmen bringing decorum to a gunfight. Pathetic. Get these losers out of my face forever.
