"Teratophilia" yeah that's cool and whatnot but my brother in Christ, that's just a dog. Not a werewolf. It's a dog.

Used to be religion was a means to pacify, give people hope, one day as long as you keep praying, God will eventually make your life amazing. Despite all of the right's pushes for Christofascism, it's hard to have hope when your life is so clearly miserable with no light at the end of the tunnel.
The U.S. is undergoing its fastest religious shift in modern history, marked by a rapid increase in the religiously unaffiliated and numerous church closures nationwide.
The great unchurching of America
A seismic shift in religion is upon U.S.

It is ALWAYS a mechanical turk, it is ALWAYS human beings being pressured to do more work for less wages. Every single goddamn time.
MIT’s NANDA initiative found that 95% of generative AI deployments fail after interviewing 150 execs, surveying 350 workers, and analyzing 300 projects. The real “productivity gains” seem to come from layoffs and squeezing more work from fewer people not AI.
MIT report: 95% of generative AI pilots at companies are failing
There’s a stark difference in success rates between companies that purchase AI tools from vendors and those that build them internally.

For the last 5 days and for the foreseeable future until I can get it sorted out, I cannot lay horizontally without incredibly searing pain in my tooth, but it ONLY happens at night between the hours of 8pm and 4am and it's the very specific time window that pisses me off most tbh because WHY

"Bluesky is so boring!"

That's because no one is here trying aggressively to monetize recycled Tumblr memes and obvious ragebait. You dislike the website because you're not consistently being spurred to react and your brain is too rotted to just scroll without conflict or stolen humor

The heart of XIV has been and always will be its players and the fun they make with it. From players swarming the citystates on Goobbues in 1.0's final days to an nameless glitch mob being so endearing it survives a patch update

KOSA passed out of the subcommittee in the House on 13-10 vote. Meaning that they are FINALLY listening to some opposition. But not enough to prevent the other age verification bills from passing, let alone this.

They MUST listen to opposition. Losing this fight is NOT an option.

Y'all gonna start acknowledging the parallels yet?

Y'all gonna start defending art, intimacy, and sex as basic human expressions?

Y'all gonna start realizing that these deranged puritans don't have an ounce of goodwill in their bodies and literally just want to control every aspect of our lives?

while KOSA passed the subcommittee, there is still the full committee meeting it needs to go through before being voted on by the Senate/House

support is more split on it than you'd think, we just need to pull away enough votes to block it. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!
