Quebec currently has the highest inflation rate in Canada, with rising grocery prices and rents accounting for much of the increase.

Across many years as a parenting columnist, I've written about vaccine heistancy multiple times. Each time, I've tried to be sensitive and empathetic to these people but, if I'm honest, nothing has ever gotten closer to my true feelings about them than this meme from a decade ago.

I think people usually call this going back to normal, you know, when they kill and kidnap nonwhite people and no one writes pop songs about it.

I was lucky enough to volunteer with Laurabel, and she is absolutely correct. Newfoundland and Labrador have a growing, diverse population, Black History Month is not a partisan issue, and the PCs should step up and show us they're the progressive conservatives they claim to be.

Meta has patented AI that can run a dead person's account, continuing to post and chat on their behalf

It can message and video call by replicating a user's online behavior using their past data

One of the funny things in the prepper community is how it is all gender. The husband only hoards guns and ammo, the wife only hoards food.

At no point do their hobbies intersect the way they do in reality, in ways actual people do.
If more preppers were serious about learning all useful skills – and not only the macho ones – they’d learn crocheting and/or knitting. It’s SO important to know how to make wearables in a pinch
Two months ago I started crocheting, and now I’m making people handmade presents. I love art and crafts

This was the intended outcome of the abortion ban.
Pregnancy became far more dangerous in Texas after the state banned abortion, according to ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis, which found the sepsis rate for women hospitalized as they miscarried in the 2nd trimester shot up by more than 50%.

Texas Banned Abortion. Then Sepsis Rates Soared.
ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis is the most detailed look yet into a rise in life-threatening complications for women experiencing pregnancy loss under Texas’ abortion ban.

Not great how U.S. foreign policy is a combination of white nationalism, eugenics, preening toxic masculinity, and groveling for the approval of hostile nations before assisting our allies.
This is a direct violation of long-standing US policy toward Taiwan.

Beginning with the 1982 version, the Six Assurances to Taiwan explicitly states that the U.S. will not consult with China on arms sales to Taiwan.

Nor will the U.S. set an end date of arms sales to Taiwan.
President Donald Trump said that he’s discussing future weapons sales to Taiwan with Chinese President Xi Jinping and teased that he would soon make a decision about future defense support for the self-governing island.

Why would anyone ever bother interviewing for a job that a company isn't bothering to interview you for
“AI interview” is where we are at in this hellscape job market.

It was bad enough to apply to jobs that were likely mostly non-existent to begin with, now if you even get an interview it won’t be with a real person.

It sure would be swell if governments had stepped in and harshly regulated AI before it destroyed everything, but elected officials are on the take and, as long as they’re getting theirs, whatever happens happens.

Nobody in government has a spine. Or courage.
