I have only ever seen that word in writing so I always assumed it was pronounced the same. At a previous job my manager pronounced it "primmer" and it took me a good minute to realise what he meant.

Here’s a primer on ‘primer.’

It’s pronounced ‘PRIMM-er’ if you mean “a small book” or “a short informative piece of writing.”

The TDSB, under normal circumstances, does not care about staff and only minimally about kids and families, but under this supervisor, they don't care at all.

I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.

Islamophobia & other forms of hate are skyrocketing.

A Markham man was beaten, had his skull broken, and his eye sockets smashed because of hate.

My heart is broken for his family, but words of politicians are not enough. The govt must take significant & immediate action to stop the rise of hate.
