I’ll get back to talking about tech, again, but not right now.

I stopped posting on Twitter (I’ll never call it X) once things got bad. I miss community and hope this platform helps all of us to reconnect again 💜
My favorite, so far, today

Someone asked how I’m holding up. Well I dreamt Captain America was my boyfriend & woke up with Bowie's 'The Man Who Sold the World' playing in my head. Guess my subconscious is trying to tell me even superheroes can't save us,but at least we have the 1st single for the fall of democracy soundtrack?

We obviously need to have a talk about the fact that most hackers are pretty socially liberal and personal liberty driven. That means we typically fall in line on ideals with libertarian and civil liberties organizations and pundits.

We work hard all week, there's really no guarantee that once weekend comes, your brain can disengage or that it's given back to you in the same state when the week started.

If you have a really tough week, it takes time to untangle.

Y’all know those black bins with yellow lids from Costco? Yep. That’s my container/need to organize life…
I followed this ADHD hack where they suggest putting things in containers when you are too overwhelmed and need to clean up the house quick

Now I have about 10 containers that I need to go through that I collected over the year 😂😭

Heads up if you work with folks in the Seattle area: many folks have been without power since later afternoon/evening yesterday. Trees are blocking neighborhoods, internet is down & area schools are closed

One of fascism's main tactics is to physically and mentally exhaust you. To flood the zone with outrageous bullshit, to make you bite on a dozen pump-fakes — so that when the real shot comes, you're too worn out to react.

We need to pace ourselves. It's only been a week. Alert fatigue is dangerous
