We thought we wanted a nice feel-good film to watch for our annual "movie, cocktail, and charcuterie" NYE.
Instead I picked John Carpenter's "They Live", because it was it's last day on the Criterion Channel, and I'm really glad I did.

@mollardemoseyer.bsky.social and I didn't do much in the way of Christmas gifts this year, but we did get ourselves this fun cocktail advent calendar from Straightaway Cocktails. We started opening on Christmas Day, and the Paper Plane was our day one bevvie.

An update:
Fernando was granted bond, and because of the fundraiser was able to post that bond ($10,000) and be released from ICE custody on Tuesday evening.
