Woke up to quite the update on this. I had been in contact with Payment Cloud about getting their service and they waited until now to hit me with the image below. Again, stringing me along instead of being upfront. They had seen my website multiple times before this.

Spoke with an anon source who had an interesting insight into Visa policy. Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy

I'm seeing fewer posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation, and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them and losing them money.
Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.

The one thing I hope everyone takes away from the payment processing debacle lately is that the online payments infrastructure across the world is a pile of incestuous nonsense where multiple companies get to receive money for doing almost nothing and also tell you what you can do with your money.

Can't believe people don't get this; but the reason this payment processor shit has to be all or nothing is because once these freaks establish a line on what fiction is or isn't okay the line will only move further and further in. You have to fight against the line entirely.
