Basically, the CEO of Bluesky has been acting immaturely and unprofessionally while dismissing users' concerns. It really blew up when she replied "WAFFLES!" to a question regarding moderation.

Bluesky moderation has been disappointing for a long time, that's why Blacksky exists in the first place.

1) This was a spam network shared internally at Bluesky for investigation on spam likes. 2) I misclicked/unclicked, but a harassment bot picked it up 3) I continue to be harassed about it a year later

I'm offering a genuine response that I don't see the need for this continually to be raised.

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

The real reason why Bluesky is failing so bad at moderation is simply because they're scared of congressional investigations by Republicans and having to spend millions on lawyers they they don't have to defend against it. It's all political and about self preservation.
