In a video posted to his social media, Polish-Canadian physician and Holocaust survivor Gabor Maté expressed support for the upcoming Gaza Freedom Flotilla.

“I'm here to give whatever support I can to that flotilla,” Maté said. “I wish I could be there with you, but my heart is certainly with you.”

Night night sweet dreamies

It’s okay to have a bad day.
It’s okay to feel tired, sad, or not quite yourself.
Let it pass through you, not define you.
The sun will rise again and so will you

Good morning & welcome to Whiskers Wednesday

A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances.
The real mistake is to stop trying.

Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves claim to be looking everywhere for opportunities for growth but are ignoring the solution right under their noses.

A new UK-EU Customs Union would turbocharge our economy, tearing down the trade barriers holding British businesses back.

A beautiful grey horse, fast asleep amongst the silver birch trees, with a wee red fox to watch over him.

This is a card and a print and you can see all my work on www.samcannonart.co.uk If you know any foolish people who love foxes, birds, trees, flowers, poetry and lettering, they'll love it.

Snow days call for playing! ❄️

When seeking to play, wolves will dance and bow playfully. Playtime can also include a game of chase, jaw sparring, and varied vocalizations.

For wolves, playtime isn’t only fun, it strengthens family bonds and reaffirms social status within the pack.

Here we go! Right after “Never get involved in a land war in Asia” is “Never get involved in a trade war with Canada.” Our winters are long and traditionally spent drawing up hate lists.
Freeland: Our retaliation is going to be a lot more surgical than that. We are going to go after American stakeholders who matter to The White House. I have proposed a 100% tariff on all Teslas. I am calling on all the countries that are affected by this tariff to join us

Another of my favourite herbs is Pineapple Mint, also known as variegated Apple Mint. I don’t even tend to cook with it, but love a green and creamy white combination and the more subtle scent as you brush past it 🌱
And yes, it spreads just like all of the others do!
