1000 or so+ (at least) National Weather Service/NOAA employees took early retirement today alone with more likely. NWS offices in many cases were already understaffed and services are being cut. Mark this day. So many implications....

As #NationalParkWeek ends, we face a troubling reality: the NPS is moving toward a RIF, putting staff and our parks at risk.

🚨 Fewer rangers. Longer lines. Unsafe trails. Closed facilities. Gateway communities impacted.

Federal spending is *up* under Trump according to the Wall Street Journal. Chaos is not actually the same as cost savings.

Actual budgeting is a kind of actual policy-making and takes real work spread over real time. Running around breaking stuff isn't that.

Its near-final budget proposal would end all NOAA research labs, academic institutes, and regional climate centers. And it wants to fully end the NOAA Research division.

The Trump-Musk war against workers continues. Last night, Trump issued a blatantly illegal executive order essentially destroying AFGE & NTEU, the unions representing federal employees.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).
